ANSWER: I have been on the EDC board for 1 year and understand the role that the EDC plays in retaining and attracting businesses to Celina. i understand the application process and the boards' role in reviewing those applications. I have and will continue to listen to residents about what is important to them in terms of services in Celina and will continue to support established small businesses in Celina. I understand the importance of attracting the right businesses as Celina continues to grow and have participated in EDC/City Council roundtables and events. I am passionate about doing the right thing for Celina as the city continues to grow. I am a small business owner as is my husband so we understand the things that businesses go through when trying to establish and to grow.
