-
Celina EDC works towards creating a thriving and sustainable economic environment through collaboration with government agencies, private enterprises, and community stakeholders.
Celina’s EDC currently has positions for FIVE MEMBERS with staggered 2-year terms.
On SEPTEMBER 12TH they are appointing FOUR OF THE FIVE POSITIONS.
As business owners and citizens, it is vital that these new members understand our local business environment and will make a positive impact on our local business community.

Lend us your voice: On August 19th, the City Council scheduled interviews with 8 pre-screened candidates for (4) board seats based on their answers to these questions:
• Statement of Interest (Why I wish to serve on the Board/Commission)
• Please indicate any business or personal experience applicable to the board/commission you are applying for.
Nevertheless, only six candidates were able to attend. We have provided their responses to the aforementioned questions, recorded their interviews, and transcribed them. We kindly request your assessment of each candidate's qualifications for the EDC board.
-
Your responses will be compiled along with those from our Celina Local Business Alliance to provide input to the selection committee for their consideration. If you prefer, there is an option to provide feedback anonymously to ensure your comfort. Our goal is not to single out any specific business but to create a comprehensive understanding of our community's perspective on each candidate in relation to local businesses. The more feedback we receive, the more insightful our results will be.
